I'll do my best to gather this together for everyone to have the resources I've found that seem useful.
USPS Mail
- Flat rate boxes are about the size of a shoebox, and cost around 8-9 dollars to send to Iraq (they have other sizes as well)
- USPS office offers "Military Care Package Kit" which are free boxes, with Customs forms.
- Advice about packaging, addressing
- Easy ideas to send in a package (commonly requested items)
- MotoMail is a email / printed lettter hybrid system that the Marines provide to a fast physical letter to the Marine.
- Once you have an account with the Marine's information you can write a letter from home into their system, it will go through their processes, then be printed up and handed to the Marine (often with 24-48 hours)

Is Motomail better than a regular email message? Mom
It sounds like there is the potential that MotoMail is better than regular paper letters or brief emails. The turn over time (24-48 hours might be faster than they get their hands on an email). One of the drawbacks to MotoMail when comparing it to email or usps mail is that it can only be a text message instead of photos, or personal touches.
