Will hasn't even left the states yet and they are already taking under-utilized body parts from him! Wednesday he will end the day with 4 fewer wisdom teeth from what he woke up with. Fortunately the Marines are kind enough to allow for a tiny bit of recovery time.
Since I haven't heard too many stories about the wonderful memories of the removal / recovery, I shall keep my fingers crossed for an easy removal and fast recovery.
PS - Any Marine at Camp Lejeune want to do good dead? Will is going to need a Dairy Queen Blizzard or a Steak and Shake milkshake delivered. I'll owe you one! :)

Yeah, Imagine my surprise. I just went in to make an appointment so that I could get my predeployment x-rays taken. "Oh those have to come out right now". Hmmm ok well at least it is free here instead of having to pay while I am in the reserves.
3 of our guys are having their teeth pulled today!
By the way, they don't have Steak and Shakes here. They do have 1 DQ that I found, but judging by the condition of the building I am not so sure I trust what kind of food is in it. (John W./ Cory you guys wouldn't go in it either). They have tons of Arbies with their chocolotoMooolotto whatever they call those things!
Oh well off to the dentist!
Hey Will-- how did it go today? We were thinking of you all morning and hoping it would go as well as pulling out 4 teeth can go! Since we didn't hear from you after your appointment, we figured that you took them up on some good strong pain killers and went to bed. Hope you don't look like a Smurf like Carolyn did after her wisdom teeth came out! A friend of mine came with me today to visit Carolyn and we had such a great day visiting, yakking, and riding our bikes around campus. Stopped in at Snowbear for an ice cream and wished we could have sent a couple of scoops of it to you to make you feel better. Now with all the shots behind you (haha!) and wisdom teeth gone, they should let you alone for the rest of the Camp Lejeune time, right? Take care and get better!
Much better today! After taking alot of 800mg Motrin I managed to survive the surgery. My lower right side is very sore, but that is the one tooth that he had to use alot of leverage to pull the tooth out. They perscribed vicadin but I didn't need to take it. Much to the bewilderment of my fellow Marines who felt I should have taken them.
Hopefully I am done with all the nasty medical stuff that needs to happen to me now.
